Prepare Your Manuscript
• The manuscript must be written with the following elements in the order listed: title page; abstract; keywords; introduction; research method; results and discussion; conclusion; references; appendices (if necessary); tables and figures must be cited. To ensure manuscript conformity, please download the article template.
• It must include a structured abstract of 250 words. The abstract structure should contain (for example, research objectives, research methods, results, and findings).
• It must include between 3 and 5 keywords. Include information about title selection and search engine optimization. Tips for selecting keywords (for example: read your paper and highlight the key terms or phrases most relevant to your research focus; create a shortlist; try searching with your keywords to ensure the results align with your article and assess their usefulness to others; narrow your keywords to ensure accuracy; review your final list and ask yourself whether these keywords are the most effective for indexing your article online).
• Articles may be written in Indonesian, English, or Arabic.
• Articles submitted to Arjis must be typed on A4 paper (Margins: Top 3 cm, Left 3 cm, Bottom 3 cm, Right 3 cm), using Garamond 12 pt, 1.5 spacing, with a length of 4,500–7,000 words (maximum), including abstract and references.
• Articles submitted to Arjis must use Mendeley reference manager with the American Psychological Association (APA) 7th edition style. Example: (Khairuddin, 2022).
• Articles submitted online must include the article file and academic biographical data.
• Articles must follow the Arabic–Indonesian transliteration system according to the Joint Decree of Three Ministers (SKB 3 Menteri).

Manuscript Checklist
• The manuscript must be written in proper and formal Indonesian or English. Manuscripts submitted in other languages will be automatically rejected based on the editor’s decision.
• The manuscript must be submitted in Doc or Docx format (Microsoft Word file). Submissions in other formats (e.g., PDF) will be automatically rejected.
• To contribute to the body of knowledge and global readership impact, the manuscript must clearly demonstrate a phenomenon, research gap, research contribution, novelty, and state of the art (SoTA).
Graphical Abstract (optional). This is an image providing readers with a concise overview of your article’s content. The maximum width is 525 pixels. If your image is smaller than 525 pixels, please place it on a white background.
Figures must be of high quality (1200 dpi for line art, 600 dpi for grayscale, and 300 dpi for color, with appropriate size). Figures must be provided in one of the preferred formats: EPS, PS, JPEG, TIFF, or Microsoft Word (DOC or DOCX) if created in Word.
Tables should present new information rather than duplicating what is in the text. Readers should be able to interpret tables without referring to the main text. Please provide editable files. Manuscripts containing tables copied from statistical software will not be accepted.
Equations. If submitting a manuscript in Word format, ensure equations are editable using the formula editor in Microsoft Word. Handwritten or manually typed formulas are not accepted.
• Please use SI units (not italicized).
References. We are committed to reference content quality. All references must be from scholarly articles (at least 75% of the total references, and no more than 25% from books or websites used to support your data), with a minimum of 25 references per paper. We only accept references from trusted and valid sources. Moreover, references must include the Digital Object Identifier (DOI). Manuscripts containing fatal errors in references will be automatically rejected or subjected to major revision.

To submit your manuscript, please click here. Note that the Journal of Dual Legal System (JDLS) uses Crossref™ to screen manuscripts for non-original material. By submitting your manuscript to JDLS, you agree to originality checking during the peer-review and production processes.
• For further submission instructions, please use the Article Template. We only accept submissions prepared using this template.
• All manuscripts must be submitted exclusively through the Online Journal System (OJS) at Online Submission. We do not accept submissions via email.
JDLS is committed to peer-review integrity and upholds the highest review standards. Once your manuscript has been assessed for suitability by the editor, it will undergo a single-blind peer-review process by independent and anonymous expert reviewers.
• During the review process, authors are not advised to edit or modify authorship.
• Only qualified articles will receive a Letter of Acceptance (LoA) following the peer-review process. We do not issue early LoAs before the review process is completed.
• All articles accepted through peer review will be processed for publication as forthcoming issues with full articles (PDF) without waiting for the issue’s completion.
• Articles submitted during an ongoing publication period will continue through the review process until acceptance and will then be published in the subsequent issue.
